Sorry these boys are so talented , up and coming group Mindless Behavior. To me they seem very reminiscent of former R’n’B group B2k, and if this video anything to go by they’ll probably have the same fan base. Star quality. swag and the style to match i think these boys are gonna be big :D
What the hell is a Flatform?
OK i am all for innovative new fashion ideas but really? a flat shoe with a giant platform attached to it is not my idea of comfort. Firstly where are you wearing these shoes to a date? girly shopping trip? I think these shoes are hideous.Maybe there’s hints of a 70’s nostalgic moment happening but i’m not sure this trend is gonna catch on that well. Disagree if you want to and if someone can show me an outfit you can wear with them then ill zip my mouth. However until then you wont catch me clonking down the street in them any time soon.

So I’m hoping that soon or later this cold weather disappears,however its clear from the catwalks that spring/summer 12 collections are headed our direction weather we like it or not.
TREND: SPORTS LUXE
This trend i think will take off this spring/summer 12. perfect for the not so girly girl. This trend makes hooded tops and trackkies more fashion forward and less chav wear.
TREND: CLASHING PRINTS
Personally i hate when an outfit is matching from head to toe , i like to match garments together that don’t seem like they go together but they do. So this trend of clashing prints is perfect if you share that same view. This season don’t be afraid to team two sets of floral prints together, have your fashion moment.
TREND: THE GREAT GATSBY (20’s)
Fashion always has a distinct way of repeating itself with a twist, for almost every decade or era. This season the 1920’s is in the frame ,it comes as Baz Luhrmann is soon to release The Great Gatsby on the big screen. This sure to set off a fashion frenzy so look out for plenty of 1920’s cocktail dresses coming to a store near you.
TREND: PASTEL MIXES
I am in love with this trend , loving pastel colour’s this this season pale blues and soft pinks. A very feminine look for spring/summer and definitely a look ill be sporting.
On Monday night i forced myself to stay up and watch the Grammy’s, looking forward to some amazing performances by the best stars in the business. However the hour and a half show on channel 4 was condensed into handpicked performances.With no surprises that Chris Brown receiving a grammy and his performance not making the cut.
By no means am i condoning what he did to Rihanna , but you cannot deny that this guy is talented so i think people should remember that also. Everyone makes mistakes ,no ones perfect and i cant be the only ones that believe in second chances can i ?
The Grammy’s 2012 Red Carpet
Looks like the Grammy’s 2012 has come around for another year , where the music industry’s elite come together and celebrate the terrific year the industry has had. With artists from both sides of the Atlantic receiving recognition and additional tribute to the late Whitney Houston.
For me apart from who won the awards, what we all want to know is who wore what, and judging by the red carpet there were plenty of hits and plenty of misses.
Let’s take a look ….
BEST DRESSED:
Firstly lets look a Rihanna , she looked amazing and oozed sex appeal, wearing a black collaboration dress designed by herself and Giorgio Armani. Taking a risk with a daring deep v neckline the dress itself suits her body to perfection. I literally had no words when i saw her in this dress so Rihanna gets a 9/10 from me.
The Country singer beauty that is Carrie Underwood looked Amazing and very classic in her white Gomez-Gracia number and black clutch.
Adele who was a six time winner at the ceremony , looked absolutely beautiful and personally one of my favorite outfits of the night. Wearing a sparkly Giorgio Armani three-quarter sleeve gown, a hot red lip and curly locks, definitely a 10/10.
I have a slight girl crush on Kelly Rowland anyway so maybe i am binge a little bit biased, she always looks glamorous and exudes sophistication and the Grammy’s was no exception. Wearing a fabulously embellished Alberta Ferreti gown teamed with stand out jewels and hair. another 10/10
Black eyed Peas Fergie wearing this hot orange siren by Jean Paul Gaultier. Personally I’m torn with this dress i admire the fact that she wanted to make a bold statement with colour, however not sure i am a fan of the large black underwear. Hidden under all that beautiful lace detail. dress gets a 6/10 from me.
WORST DRESSED:
Well it looks like although there were plenty of hits at the Grammy’s there were also several misses i hate to say.
Firstly with Robyn, normally i like her edgy androgynous style but this time i dont quite get it. Calvin Klein mullet skirt with a white T-shirt and overly chunky platforms, i have no words just a 2/10 .
Followed by Nikki Minaj who i actually love musically and sometimes fashion wise, but as she stepped on the red carpet i was just baffled. Wearing what i assumed was a red riding hood outfit was a Versace creation then bizarrely teamed the pope as her accessory. I cant give a rating out of 10 just a confused face.
Im not going to give Snooki a comment because her style is jerseylicious no matter what the event is.
Personally i didn’t think Katy Perry’s blue Elie Saab was that bad , although the blue hair to match was a little bit much. Perry gets a 7/10.
Lastly Russian artist Sasha Gradiva was on the cusp of having an amazing fashion moment on the Red carpet, until she teamed her beautiful gown with a strange terminator-esque gun attached to her arm. Again i am confused. Rating 6/10
